The Altar from ScandiFlames is a compact freestanding bioethanol stove made from solid cast iron, with refined detailing and decorative carvings inspired by traditional wood-burning stoves. Its smaller footprint makes it well suited to living rooms, snug spaces and rooms where a full-size stove would feel too heavy.

Finished in black, Altar has the visual weight and character of a conventional stove while operating without a chimney, flue or power connection. The front glass door frames the flame, creating a clear focal point within the room.

A removable decorative top reveals a flat plate beneath, allowing for light functional use such as warming a kettle and adding a practical layer to its traditional design.

The included 1.5 litre manual bioethanol burner produces an adjustable flame with a burn time of up to 5 hours per fill. It consumes approximately 0.3 litres of fuel per hour and delivers a maximum heat output of around 2.1 kW.

Designed for indoor rooms of at least 50 cubic metres, Altar brings the atmosphere and ritual of a real stove to spaces where traditional installation is not practical.
