The FEUERWASSER Wood-Fired Outdoor Bathtub brings warm outdoor bathing and cold-water immersion together in a compact form designed for one or two people.

Use it cold as an ice bath or plunge pool, or light the integrated wood-fired stove and heat the water for a long soak beneath the open sky. The water heats from approximately 10°C to 38°C in 45 to 90 minutes, without requiring electricity.

Handmade in Austria, the bathtub combines a V4A stainless steel inner tub with solid pine cladding and a stainless steel substructure. The side-loading stove is integrated into the end of the bath, keeping firewood, ash and embers away from the water.

Its compact footprint makes it well suited to gardens, terraces, sauna areas, cabins and outdoor hospitality spaces where a larger hot tub may feel too dominant. This is outdoor bathing reduced to its essential materials: fire, water, steel, wood and time.

Plan your setup

• Positioning: Allow space for the 215 × 85 cm bathtub, flue and safe access around the installation.

• Filling: The bathtub holds approximately 300 litres at bathing level.

• Heating: The integrated stove uses dry, natural wood and heats the water from approximately 10°C to 38°C in 45 to 90 minutes.

• Emptying: The optional drain elbow allows a garden hose to be connected to the outlet so water can be directed towards a suitable drainage point.

• Surface protection: The optional stainless steel floor plate sits beneath the firebox to help protect the surface from falling ash and heat exposure.

• Winter care: Fully empty the bathtub and stove when they are not in use during freezing conditions.

How it works

Fill the bathtub until the integrated stove is completely surrounded by water before lighting the fire. The side-loading stove heats the water directly, without an electric pump.

Use dry, natural wood and monitor the temperature as the water heats. The optional paddle with thermometer makes it easier to circulate the water and check when the bath has reached your preferred temperature.

The stove must only be lit when it is correctly surrounded by water. Full assembly, heating, operating and drainage instructions are supplied with the product.

Built for warm and cold bathing

The non-porous stainless steel inner tub is easy to clean and can be used with warm or cold water. Two adjustable pine backrests and a removable table are included, creating a comfortable place to sit, soak and spend more time outdoors.

Use it as a cold plunge, a warming wood-fired bath or as part of a wider sauna and outdoor bathing ritual.
